Job Summary





The

Compliance Officer

is responsible for ensuring operational integrity across all company retail stores and warehouses. This includes adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). The role also involves verifying Area Sales Manager (ASM) reports, auditing field operations, resolving discrepancies, and supporting special compliance or operational projects.

Key Responsibilities



Store & Warehouse Compliance Audits

Conduct regular audits at all retail and warehouse locations. Evaluate compliance with SOPs, safety, hygiene, and inventory control. Verify stock handling and storage conditions.

Verification of ASM Monthly Audits

Review and validate audit reports submitted by ASMs. Cross-check inventory, documentation, and operational consistency. Highlight gaps or deviations between reports.

Reporting & Escalations

Prepare structured audit reports outlining findings and risks. Recommend actions such as warnings, fines, or retraining. Escalate unresolved or repeated non-compliance issues.

Investigation & Issue Resolution

Investigate reported or observed discrepancies like stock loss or staff misconduct. Work with relevant departments for issue resolution and follow-up. Ensure accountability and corrective measures are implemented.

Project Support & Cross-Functional Assistance

Support compliance-related or cross-functional projects as assigned. Assist in process improvement initiatives, new store setup audits, or compliance system implementations. Coordinate with different departments to ensure project goals align with compliance standards. ###

Requirements



Skills & Competencies





Strong auditing, analytical, and verification skills Ability to travel extensively (minimum 20 days/month) Excellent report writing and attention to detail Proficiency in MS Excel, audit tools, and documentation systems Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines

Qualifications





Bachelor's degree. 0-5 years of experience. Certification in Internal Audit, Compliance, or Risk Management is a plus
