We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Executive - Apparel to support and execute end-to-end merchandising, retail planning, and marketing initiatives for premium brands.
This role will collaborate closely with multiple departments including Sales, Supply Chain, Retail Operations, Design, Finance and External Vendors to ensure strong in-store and online presence, accurate demand planning, and consistent brand execution.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in apparel retail marketing, strong Excel and SAP skills, and an excellent understanding of premium retail operations.
Forecast seasonal and monthly apparel demand
Support buying and replenishment planning through data insights
Identify stock gaps, overstock & best-performing categories
KPI:
Forecast accuracy, stock-out %, overstock %
2. Retail & Online Planogram Execution
Create seasonal retail and online planograms
Support merchandising on Brand Website, Myntra, Tata CLiQ, Amazon etc.
Ensure effective premium product placement across channels
KPI:
Planogram compliance, sales per sq. ft.
3. Visual Merchandising (VM) and Store Execution
Implement & maintain premium VM standards in stores
Coordinate VM rollouts for product launches and promotions
Conduct periodic store audits
KPI
: VM audit scores, store compliance %
4. Retail Marketing and Promotions
Plan and execute in-store promotions and seasonal campaigns
Work on POSM, signage, and visual marketing assets
Track performance & ROI per campaign
KPI:
Sales uplift %, campaign ROI
5. Staff Training & Brand Enablement
Conduct product knowledge & VM training sessions
Ensure retail staff has strong understanding of fabrics, fits & brand DNA
KPI:
No. of training sessions, post-training performance
6. Data Analysis and Reporting
Track and analyse sales, sell-through, stock ageing, size mix
Prepare weekly & monthly reports in Excel & SAP
Share insights with planning & management
Monitor leftover / slow-moving inventory
Identify and address size gaps for timely replenishment
Coordinate with warehouse and distribution teams
KPI:
Size fill rate %, replenishment TAT
8. Catalogue, Lookbook and Content Support
Coordinate development of seasonal catalogues and lookbooks
Ensure timely sharing with sales & retail partners
9. Vendor Management and Cross-Department Coordination
Coordinate with: VM agencies/vendors, Printing and creative vendors, Logistics and warehouse, Marketplace and e-comm partners, Sales and planning teams
Track timelines, budgets & execution quality
10. System Knowledge and Tools
The candidate must have working knowledge of:
SAP (inventory / order / stock tracking modules)
Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reporting dashboards)
Retail / ERP / merchandising tools
Basic understanding of CRM ande-comm backend systems
Key Skills Required
Strong understanding of apparel and retail operations
Experience in premium / lifestyle / sportswear brands preferred
Advanced Excel and SAP knowledge is mandatory
Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and external vendors
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Eye for detail & premium brand aesthetics
