Provide detailed information on menu items and specials, and make recommendations to upsell items when appropriate.

Service delivery:

Serve food and beverages promptly and correctly to the tables.

Payment processing:

Present checks, process payments, and handle cash and card transactions.

Table maintenance:

Set tables with cutlery and glasses, and clear tables of used dishes and debris.

Problem-solving:

Handle customer complaints and concerns, and work to resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.

Team coordination:

Communicate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered in a timely manner.

Cleanliness and safety:

Maintain a clean and organized dining area, and follow all sanitation and health guidelines for food handling.
