Waiter / Server

Job Summary:

The waiter is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience by being attentive, courteous, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables Present menus and explain dishes, specials, and beverages Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar Serve food and beverages promptly and correctly Ensure guest satisfaction and handle basic complaints politely Clear tables and reset them for the next guests Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and service stations Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service Process bills and collect payments when required Follow hygiene, safety, and service standards

Requirements:

Previous experience as a waiter/server preferred Good communication and interpersonal skills Polite, well-groomed, and customer-focused Ability to stand for long hours and multitask Basic knowledge of food, beverages, and hygiene practices Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
