The Restaurant Stewardess is the first point of contact for guests. She is responsible for welcoming guests, managing table assignments, and supporting the front-of-house team to ensure an excellent dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Reception:
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and make them feel welcome.
Manage waiting lists and reservations effectively.
Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
Reservation & Seating Management:
Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station.
Coordinate table turnover with waitstaff to ensure efficient service.
Maintain accurate reservation records and communicate guest preferences.
Customer Service:
Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in throughout the dining experience.
Provide information about menu items and restaurant specials when needed.
Support Tasks:
Assist with setting and clearing tables when required.
Support the service team during busy periods.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the dining area.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
Proficiency in verbal communication (English; additional languages are a plus).
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
