The role involves providing excellent guest service, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting daily restaurant operations under the supervision of the Captain and Manager.
Responsibilities:
Follow company service and cleanliness standards at all times.
Set up tables and chairs as per reservations and service needs.
Ensure all cutlery, crockery, and glassware are clean and ready for use.
Serve food and beverages politely and efficiently.
Clear and reset tables quickly after guests leave.
Assist the Captain and team in smooth daily operations.
Keep the work area neat, tidy, and well-stocked.
Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams for timely service.
Recommend dishes or drinks to guests when appropriate.
Follow hygiene, grooming, and safety standards at all times.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Steward or 2-3 years as a trainee/apprentice.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
Pleasant personality with good communication skills.
Team player with discipline and attention to detail.
Immediate joiners preferred.
