The Restaurant Steward will play a key role in ensuring smooth restaurant operations by combining responsibilities of table service, food running, and basic cleaning. This role be part of a dynamic team that delivers authentic South Indian hospitality with efficiency, hygiene, and a warm smile.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service & Table Handling:
Greet and assist guests in a warm, friendly manner. Present menus, explain specials, and take accurate food and beverage orders. Serve food and drinks with proper etiquette and timing. Upsell dishes and promote daily offers or signature South Indian items. Address guest needs and ensure complete dining satisfaction.
Food Running & Coordination:
Collect and deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables promptly. Announce dishes if needed and ensure correct placement at each table. Communicate delays or special requests between the kitchen and service team. Refill water, chutneys, and accompaniments during service.
Cleaning & Setup
: Maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas before, during, and after operations. Assist with clearing tables, resetting cutlery, and organizing pantry areas. Follow hygiene and food safety standards (FSSAI).
