Job Summary:

The

Steward

is responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and prompt service to guests while maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the restaurant. The role ensures a pleasant dining experience by assisting in food service, table setup, and adherence to hygiene and service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and seat guests in a professional and friendly manner. Present the menu, take orders accurately, and serve food and beverages promptly. Ensure tables are set up properly before service and cleared efficiently after use. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area and service stations. Assist the Captain / Supervisor during busy hours and follow their instructions. Ensure proper handling of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and service equipment. Refill water, beverages, and condiments as required during service. Report guest feedback, complaints, or special requests to the Captain or Manager. Follow safety, grooming, and hospitality standards as per company SOPs. Support in mise-en-place and closing duties before and after service hours.

Requirements:

Education:

10th / 12th Pass or Diploma in Hotel Management / F&B Service.

Experience:

0-2 years of experience as a Steward / Waiter in a restaurant or hotel (freshers may also apply).

Skills & Attributes:

Good communication and interpersonal skills. Pleasant personality with a guest-oriented attitude. Basic knowledge of food and beverage service. Team player and eager to learn. Attention to detail and discipline in work habits.

Working Conditions:

Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays. Requires standing for extended periods during service hours.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
