Job Summary:

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high food quality standards, managing staff performance, and achieving profitability targets. The role demands leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to handle both front-of-house and back-of-house operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning.

Monitor food preparation, presentation, and service quality.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff including servers, chefs, and support staff.

Schedule shifts and ensure proper staff coverage.

Motivate and support team members to deliver excellent service

Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.

Maintain strong relationships with regular customers.

Ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.

Monitor daily sales and expenses to achieve financial goals.

Manage inventory, stock control, and vendor relationships.

Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports.

Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities.

Suggest new ideas to attract customers and improve revenue.

Ensure adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures.

Maintain required licenses, permits, and certifications.

Qualifications & Skills

:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred).

Minimum 1- 2 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of restaurant management software (POS, inventory, scheduling).

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
