We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Restaurant Manager to lead the front-of-house and overall operations of our esteemed North Indian fine dining restaurant in Muscat, Oman. Job Summary:
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire restaurant's daily operations, from staff management and customer satisfaction to financial performance and marketing. The ideal candidate will work in close partnership with the Executive Chef to deliver a seamless and exceptional North Indian fine dining experience. We are looking for a leader who can ensure flawless service, manage a high-performing team, and drive the business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all front-of-house operations to ensure a smooth and efficient service that exceeds customer expectations.
Recruit, train, schedule, and manage a team of service staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.[1]
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.[1]
Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu planning, promotions, and special events.[1]
Manage budgets, control operational costs, and prepare regular reports on sales and profitability.[2]
Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety throughout the establishment.[1]
Oversee inventory management for beverages, supplies, and front-of-house equipment.[3]
Implement marketing and promotional activities to increase sales and enhance the restaurant's reputation.[1]
Qualifications and Experience:
Mandatory experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role within a star-rated hotel or a recognized fine dining restaurant.
A strong understanding and appreciation of North Indian cuisine and the fine dining environment are highly advantageous.
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.[4]
Proven leadership and team management abilities.[4]
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.[5]
A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
