Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our South Indian QSR. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Indian cuisine and significant experience in the QSR industry. They will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, optimizing operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service are maintained.
Manage, train, and mentor restaurant staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Monitor inventory levels and manage supply orders to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
Implement and maintain operational procedures and standards.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to provide on-going training and development for staff.
Work closely with other internal teams to achieve collective goals and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager, preferably in the QSR industry.
Significant knowledge of South Indian cuisine and food preparation techniques.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make decisions quickly.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service.
