Minimum experience:-
  • Minimum 1-2 Years of experience as restaurant hostess or in relevant field.
Education:-
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Additional hospitality or customer service training is a plus.
Skillset:-
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office

  • As the first point of contact for guests, the Restaurant Hostess plays a pivotal role in creating a positive and welcoming dining experience. This position requires a friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
  • Greeting and Seating: Warmly welcome guests upon their arrival, manage reservations, and efficiently seat them in the appropriate section.
  • Reservation Management: Keep track of reservations and waitlists, ensuring smooth coordination between the front-of-house and kitchen staff.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service.
  • Customer Assistance: Provide information about menu items, daily specials, and address customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism.
  • Maintaining the Waiting Area: Ensure the waiting area is clean, organized, and visually appealing for guests.
  • Problem Resolution: Handle guest complaints or issues diplomatically and promptly, seeking assistance from management when necessary.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other front-of-house and back-of-house team members to maintain a cohesive and efficient operation.
