Job Description

As a Hostess at O Pedro, you will be an ambassador for the exceptional service and cuisine that are hallmarks of our dining experience. Your warm, personal attention provides a memorable first impression on guests, making them feel welcome and valued.

This role is based out of BKC and reports to the Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager

Responsibilities:

? Always be warm, courteous and polite.

? Consistently offer a professional, friendly greeting and engaging service

? Answer all telephone enquiries and record all reservations in the reservations software

? Understand the server's tasks at O Pedro

? Understand reservations reports from the reservation software

? Ensuring the retail counter is clean and the stocks are maintained.

? Daily Handover log is updated for reliever so that accurate information is passed on.

? All reservations confirmation need to be done in a timely manner and reservation information shared on the TBC Reservations group.

? Periodic check of third party reservations to ensure all are entered in Zomato book.

? Checking menus daily and periodic menu printing

? Aware of all promotional material and festivities menus

? Assist guests regarding food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way

? Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods

? Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards

Requirements

? Previous service experience an asset

? Previous Point of Sale System experience an asset

? Previous Reservations systems experience an asset

? Excellent communication and organizational skills
