: Restaurant Captain

Overview:

The Restaurant Captain is responsible for ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all guests. This role involves leading the service team, managing day-to-day restaurant operations, and acting as a primary point of contact for guests. The ideal candidate will be a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:



Guest Service:

Greet and seat guests, providing them with menus and special promotions. Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Anticipate guest needs and respond to special requests or concerns promptly and professionally. Maintain a high standard of service to ensure guest satisfaction.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and train junior staff, including waiters and food runners. Delegate tasks and manage workflow to ensure smooth and timely service. Motivate and lead the team to maintain a positive and professional work environment.

Operational Duties:

Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly followed. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately. Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setting up and breaking down the dining area.

Communication:

Act as a liaison between the front-of-house and back-of-house teams. Communicate guest feedback, issues, and special requests to the kitchen and management.

Qualifications:



Proven experience as a Restaurant Captain, Head Waiter, or similar role. Strong knowledge of food and beverage, including menu pairing and wine selection. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure gracefully. A professional and polished appearance with a strong work ethic. Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
