Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced, confident, and guest-focused

Restaurant Captain

to lead the service team. The ideal candidate will supervise stewards, ensure smooth restaurant operations, maintain service standards, and deliver an exceptional dining experience to guests.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the stewarding/service team during shifts. Welcome guests warmly, manage seating arrangements, and handle reservations if required. Take orders when needed and ensure accurate, timely service delivery. Monitor table service, presentation, and guest satisfaction throughout the meal. Train, guide, and motivate stewards to maintain service excellence. Coordinate closely with the kitchen for order flow and special guest requests. Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of dining areas as per hotel standards. Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally. Assist in opening and closing duties, including setup and end-of-day checks. Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and F&B service protocols.

Requirements

Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Food & Beverage service, with at least 1 year as a Captain or Senior Steward. Strong leadership, communication, and team-handling skills. Good knowledge of food, beverages, and service standards. Ability to manage guest expectations in a fast-paced environment. Well-groomed, professional appearance with a positive attitude.
