JOB DESCRIPTION
The F & B Service Captain is responsible for supervising the food service area, ensuring high standards of service, guest satisfaction, and smooth coordination between service staff and the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of waiters and stewards
Welcome guests, take orders, and ensure prompt, courteous service
Ensure food and beverages are served according to hotel standards
Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues immediately
Coordinate with the kitchen and bar for accurate order delivery
Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of the service area
Train and guide junior service staff
Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and service regulations
Prepare duty rosters and assist in staff performance monitoring
Assist in billing and closing procedures when required
