, you will lead the service team in delivering an exceptional fine-dining experience to guests. You will ensure service excellence, oversee table settings, guide stewards, and maintain the highest standards of hospitality, etiquette, and discretion expected in a luxury dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily service operations in assigned section.
Welcome and seat guests, ensuring personalized attention throughout their dining journey.
Present menus, explain dishes, suggest wine pairings, and take guest orders with accuracy.
Ensure orders are communicated clearly to kitchen and bar, and served on time.
Conduct table setups as per fine-dining etiquette (cutlery, glassware, napkins, tableware).
Train, guide, and monitor stewards in guest service and grooming standards.
Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and discretion.
Oversee wine and beverage service as per fine-dining protocols.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and grooming standards.
Assist Restaurant Manager in inventory control of linen, crockery, glassware, and cutlery.
Maintain rapport with high-profile guests and ensure confidentiality at all times.
Monitor billing and assist with smooth table turnovers.
Requirements & Qualifications
2-5 years' experience
in fine dining or luxury hotel restaurants, with at least 1 year in a supervisory/captain role.
Strong knowledge of fine-dining service etiquette, wine service, food presentation, and menu engineering.
Excellent communication skills in
English
(additional languages an advantage).
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and guest-handling skills.
Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or F&B Service preferred.
Ability to handle high-pressure service environments with grace and composure.
Passion for hospitality and attention to detail.
