The Restaurant Captain supervises dining floor operations and staff to ensure efficient service and a pleasant dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Allocate tables and manage guest seating.
Assign daily duties to stewards and service staff.
Take orders and coordinate with the kitchen for timely service.
Handle guest queries and resolve service complaints.
Ensure cleanliness of restaurant area and adherence to service standards.
Assist in billing and closing of guest checks.
Train new joiners in service SOPs and etiquette.
Maintain coordination with the kitchen and bar for smooth operation.
Requirements:
2-4 years of experience in hotel/resort F&B service.
Good knowledge of food and beverages.
Customer-first attitude with strong communication skills.
Familiarity with restaurant POS systems.
Ability to handle VIP guests and special requests.
