Job Description

Responsible for setting up Ventilators, help in intubation Respiratory care and weaning. Setting up equipment, connecting it to patients and monitoring the machinery as it is being used. The Equipment will include: Ventilators Defibrillators Infusion pumps Syringe pumps Monitors ECG machine Ultrasound machine Any other equipment that are used in the ICU Carrying out regular maintenance checks and cleaning of Intensive Care equipment and bedside technical support Decontaminating ICU / Respiratory care / Equipment on a regular basis. Liaison with House Keeping, supervise cleaning work done by house keeping. Identifying equipment that need repair / maintenance and liaison with Biomedical and other Engineering departments. Working with other healthcare professionals during life threatening events in ICU as well as when they are called to wards (Team member of rapid response team).
