Assessment and Evaluation:

Conducting respiratory assessments:

This involves evaluating a patient's respiratory status, including lung function, oxygenation levels, and overall breathing mechanics.

Performing diagnostic tests:

Respiratory technicians utilize various tests like spirometry and pulmonary function tests to assess lung capacity and identify respiratory issues.

Analyzing data:

They interpret assessment findings, medical history, and diagnostic data to develop individualized care plans.

Monitoring patient response:

They closely monitor patients' responses to treatments, adjusting therapies as needed and reporting any changes to the physician.
