Joining Kwalee means becoming part of a team that has reached over 1 billion players around the globe.As we continue to grow, we are now looking for a Resource Planning Specialist to join our QA team in our Bangalore office. The team is a resourceful bunch of people who can pick out ways to track a single deep-rooted flaw and pull it right out. And they\'re self-sufficient, often independent when there\'s a need to fix issues directly.Working as part of a talented team, you will be working directly with the VP of Bangalore studio and responsible for accurate work stack forecasting and QA Tester scheduling to ensure games are tested efficiently and effectively at each stage of their development.As a Resource Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for building forecasting and scheduling models for the QA Tester team, for all types of Mobile, PC and Console games published by Kwalee. You will report directly to the VP of Bangalore Studio and will work alongside QA management to map QA Tester skills and competences against operational work requirements to inform the scheduling process. \ Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate work volume forecasts using historical data, trend analysis, inputs from game publishing teams, and other predictive tools.
  • Create and optimise staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage across all shifts, considering QA Tester skills, collaborative working practices across multiple time zones, peak game release times, holidays, and special events.
  • Monitor real-time QA work activities and staffing levels, adjusting schedules as necessary to meet internal and external service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on recruitment needs, identifying gaps in staffing and planning for future hiring to match forecasted demand.
  • Work with People Development to schedule training sessions for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff without impacting service levels.
  • Work with QA managers and People Development to ensure the ongoing measurement and mapping of QA Tester skills to ensure forecast work demands can always be met.
  • Analyse performance data to identify trends, efficiency opportunities, and areas for improvement in staffing, scheduling, and the use of automation within the QA processes.
  • Provide regular reporting on forecasting and scheduling accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with team leaders and managers to ensure transparency and alignment on staffing requirements and changes.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all game publishing operations, policies, and procedures to make informed planning decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with department heads in support of the efficient sharing of game production schedules, QA work stack information, and QA key metrics.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in resource planning, capacity planning, or operations management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and practices is a plus.
  • Based in our office in Bangalore.
