Key Responsibilities
Promote and sell hotel rooms, meeting spaces, and event packages to individual and corporate clients.
Identify and develop new business opportunities through sales calls, cold calling, and networking
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat bookings.
Assist clients with event planning details, including menus, seating, decor, and other arrangements in coordination with the operations team.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts in line with hotel guidelines.
Conduct regular market research to stay updated on competitor pricing, packages, and trends.
Work closely with reservations operations teams to ensure smooth client servicing and event execution.
Maintain proper records of inquiries, conversions, and follow-ups in the sales database.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate
1-3 years of sales experience (hotel industry preferred; freshers with strong communication skills may also be considered).
Prior exposure to selling rooms, banquets, or events is a plus.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
Good command of written and spoken English; additional local/regional language preferred.
Computer proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS/CRM) will be an advantage.
