Job Purpose:
To manage and enhance the daily operations of
Tiki Farms Resort
(accommodation, housekeeping, maintenance, admin) and
Mai Kai Restaurant
(F&B, service, cost control), ensuring seamless guest experience, cost efficiency, and consistent service standards in line with Tiki Farms' brand ethos -- "Tropical, Peaceful, and Personalised Hospitality."
Key Areas of Responsibility:
A. Resort Operations
Handle
Front Office
and
Guest Services
Oversee
Housekeeping
across the entire Resort property.
Conduct
daily resort walkthroughs
to ensure hygiene, maintenance, and aesthetic upkeep.
Maintain checklists for rooms, lawns, pathways, and facilities -- ensuring readiness before check-in.
Coordinate
property maintenance
(plumbing, electrical, landscape, pool, turf, etc.) with vendors or in-house technicians.
Monitor utility consumption and implement
cost-saving practices
.
B. Food & Beverage Operations (Mai Kai)
Work closely with the
Restaurant Chefs
to ensure food quality, presentation, and timely service.
Supervise daily restaurant operations -- FOH (service, billing) + BOH (kitchen hygiene, stock, staff discipline).
Coordinate with bar and kitchen teams for
event days, picnics, and wedding catering
.
Oversee
inventory, purchase control, vendor management, and daily stock reconciliation
.
Track
F&B revenue and profitability metrics
, coordinating with Accounts for accurate reporting.
C. Team Leadership & Staff Development
Supervise and guide resort and restaurant staff (people across departments).
Conduct
daily briefings
, assign departmental tasks, and ensure grooming standards.
Implement training programs for service etiquette, hygiene, communication, and safety.
Maintain a culture of accountability and motivation aligned with Tiki Farms' guest philosophy.
D. Cost, Purchase & Administration
Ensure
cost control
across housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance.
Approve daily purchase indents, verify GRNs, and coordinate with accounts for vendor payments.
Maintain
inventory tracking sheets, stock audits, and consumption reports
.
Handle
basic administrative and HR functions
-- attendance, duty rosters, and leave management.
Ensure compliance with legal norms (FSSAI, fire safety, hygiene audits, etc.).
E. Guest Experience & Brand Standards
Personally interact with guests -- gather feedback, resolve complaints promptly, and encourage repeat visits.
Ensure Tiki Farms'
"silent luxury" guest experience
is upheld -- calm, clean, and service-oriented.
Monitor online reviews (OTA, Google, social media) and coordinate with marketing for feedback response.
Support digital marketing initiatives -- event promotions, offers, and seasonal campaigns.
F. Revenue Generation & Events
Work with Sales/Marketing to drive
day picnics, events, weddings, and F&B promotions
.
Assist in planning
corporate bookings, retreats, and festive dining experiences
.
Optimise occupancy and restaurant footfall through smart pricing and packaging.
Identify cross-selling opportunities between Resort and Restaurant (stay + dine packages).
G. Reporting & Coordination
Prepare
weekly management summary
on cost performance and manpower status.
Coordinate between
Mai Kai, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Front Office
teams to ensure operational sync.
Report directly to the Owner for key decisions and financial oversight.
