Who we are looking for The role is responsible for working with the business teams to comply with State Street corporate, resiliency standards and regulatory expectations, and providing strategic direction to businesses in having a comprehensive and credible testing strategy in place to meet those requirements. As a result, the individual is required to build a strong business resiliency standards encompassing People, Property, Technology, Supplier and Information resilience, building Operational Resilience to Enterprise Resilience. The individual will interface closely with Enterprise Resiliency teams and Business Units to establish and execute the India Business Continuity and Resiliency strategy. It has an incident management component that may require non-traditional working hours depending on crisis situations. The role reports to the Head of Business Continuity and Resiliency in India. Establish and execute the India Business Continuity and Resiliency strategy and work with India business leaders and Enterprise Continuity Services team to continuously evolve the continuity and resiliency program to proactively respond to regulatory and business changes . Work closely with Business Leaders in creating awareness and elevating Resiliency as an integral part of risk excellence culture . Accountable for development, maintenance, implementation of business continuity, resiliency (including disaster recovery), concentration risk with debrief of regular mock disaster exercises to test adequacy of existing strategies, updating procedures and plans regularly . Drive a comprehensive program management to maintain a sustainable resiliency environment and monitor resiliency readiness . Development and reporting against metrics and key performance indicators, meant to assess program health and continuous improvement . Deep dive into data, existing processes, people and technology challenges in order to identify risks and opportunities . Partner with critical stakeholders to coordinate recovery strategies as identified through Business Continuity planning process and assist in responding to significant disruptive events . Establish credibility across Business Units in India, holding business leaders primarily accountable for the quality and effectiveness of continuity plans and incident response What we value These skills will help you succeed in this role . Ability to influence and partner closely with global stakeholders including Enterprise Continuity teams, Control groups and Business leaders in developing the \'best in class\' Continuity and Resiliency Program in line with regulatory and business expectations Participate in global initiatives which will require communication across various time zones and teams. Education & Preferred Qualifications . 15+ years\' experience with establishing and running business continuity and resiliency programs for large financial institution with multiple business experience in incident management . Resiliency and/or risk certification preferred . Experience and proven track record of understanding, interpreting and delivering on regulatory expectations relating to Business Continuity and Resiliency . Complete knowledge of Operational Resilience, Business Continuity Management lifecycle, Incident Management, Crisis Management, Disaster Recovery and Concentration Risk . Works well under high-pressure and stressful situations . Ability to handle multiple priorities, work on tight deadlines, coupled with a commitment to the highest quality standards and an eye for detail . Experience in program management or played strategic role in advising in-house teams and stakeholders in setting up business resiliency, business continuity programs including incident management . Ability to drive initiative independently with minimal supervision . Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills (clients, regulators, boards, and executives) . Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, ability to deal with people across levels including global senior leadership .
