Administer naturopathy treatments such as massage therapy, diet therapy, fasting therapy as per prescribed protocols.
Assess the health condition of residential clients and implement treatment plans under the guidance of senior naturopathic doctors.
Maintain hygiene, safety, and comfort during therapies.
Patient Care & Support
Provide round-the-clock care, guidance, and support to residential clients.
Educate patients on naturopathic lifestyle practices including diet, yoga, meditation, and stress management.
Motivate patients to actively participate in their healing journey.
Monitoring & Reporting
Keep daily records of patient progress, therapy sessions, and response to treatments.
Report to the Residential In-charge/Chief Naturopath regarding patient progress and concerns.
Ensure proper documentation of case histories and therapy outcomes.
Team Collaboration
Coordinate with doctors, yoga instructors, dieticians, and other therapists to ensure holistic patient care.
Emergency Handling (Night Duty Responsibilities):
Patient Monitoring
Regularly check on residential patients, especially those under treatment requiring observation (e.g., fasting, detox, chronic illness).
Stay alert for any signs of discomfort, distress, or medical emergencies.
First Response
Provide immediate first aid in case of minor injuries, fainting, dizziness, or sudden health complaints.
Stay calm and reassure the patient to reduce panic.
Escalation Protocol
Immediately inform the duty doctor/medical officer on call about any serious or abnormal condition.
If required, arrange for urgent transport to the nearest hospital in coordination with the administration.
Maintain contact with senior staff, residential in-charge, or management as per protocol.
Preparedness
Keep emergency equipment (first aid kit, torch, thermometer, BP monitor, glucometer, etc.) ready and functional.
Be familiar with patient case histories and any special instructions for night monitoring.
Know the location of nearest hospital, ambulance contact, and emergency phone numbers.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's degree in Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences (BNYS preferred).
Certification in naturopathic therapies, massage therapy, or yoga will be an added advantage.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in naturopathy, wellness centers, or residential therapy setups.
Strong knowledge of naturopathy principles, dietetics, yoga, and holistic healing.
Compassionate, patient-centered, and disciplined approach.
Good communication and counseling skills.
Ability to work in rotational shifts and provide residential support if required.
