2. Administration & Compliance
Manage day-to-day operations of the Boys Home
Ensure compliance with JJ Act, Model Rules, CWC guidelines, and inspection requirements
Maintain statutory registers, records, case files, and reports
Coordinate inspections and audits by government authorities
3. Staff Management
Supervise wardens, caretakers, teachers, counselors, cooks, and support staff
Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate staff coverage
Guide, motivate, and discipline staff as required
Conduct regular meetings and training for staff
4. Education & Development
Ensure children attend school, vocational training, or skill development programs
Coordinate with schools, tutors, and trainers
Promote life skills, moral education, discipline, and values
Encourage participation in sports, cultural, and recreational activities
5. Health, Hygiene & Nutrition
Ensure regular medical check-ups and timely medical care
Maintain hygiene standards in dormitories, kitchens, and bathrooms
Supervise food quality, nutrition, and meal planning
Ensure clean clothing, bedding, and personal hygiene for children
6. Discipline & Behavior Management
Maintain order and discipline using positive behavioral approaches
Address behavioral issues through counseling and guidance
Prevent abuse, neglect, bullying, or exploitation within the home
Report incidents promptly to management and authorities
7. Child Rehabilitation & Reintegration
Support counseling, casework, and rehabilitation plans
Coordinate with counselors, social workers, and CWCs
Facilitate family visits, restoration, or aftercare as applicable
8. Safety & Security
Ensure safety protocols, emergency preparedness, and fire safety measures
Monitor entry and exit of staff, visitors, and children
Prevent absconding and ensure child protection measures
