Resident Medical Officer (rmo)

Job Description

Conduct initial medical assessment and regular follow-ups of admitted patients

Monitor vital signs, withdrawal symptoms, and general health status

Manage day-to-day medical issues and provide first-line treatment

Maintain and update patient medical records accurately

Coordinate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and nursing staff

Handle medical emergencies and stabilize patients when required

Ensure adherence to treatment protocols and rehabilitation plans

Educate patients on health, hygiene, and lifestyle modifications

Ensure compliance with center policies, medical ethics, and legal guidelines

Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and audits

Required Skills & Competencies

Good clinical judgment and patient-care skills

Ability to work in shifts (including night duty, if required)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach

Basic knowledge of addiction medicine and mental health (preferred)

Team player with the ability to work under pressure

Eligibility Criteria

Degree in BAMS or BHMS from a recognized institution

Valid registration with respective medical council

Freshers or candidates with experience in rehabilitation/de-addiction centers preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ?25,739.61 - ?28,456.00 per month
