Proficiency in ECG interpretation and management of cardiac emergencies.
Competence in use of ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion devices.
Sound knowledge of cardiac pharmacology.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work effectively under stress and in critical care settings.
24-hour rotational duty shifts, including night and weekend coverage.
Exposure to high-stress emergency situations and infectious diseases.
On-call duties as required.
Provide round-the-clock coverage for patients admitted to the LTCCU, including post-transplant, pre-transplant, and complex liver failure cases.
Monitor hemodynamic status, graft function, coagulation profile, renal and respiratory function continuously.
Manage post-operative complications, including bleeding, sepsis, acute kidney injury, hepatic encephalopathy, rejection, and multi-organ dysfunction.
Perform detailed clinical assessment, initiate treatment plans, and escalate cases to consultants promptly.
Administer and monitor inotropes, vasopressors, insulin infusions, blood products, and TPN (total parenteral nutrition) as prescribed.
Ensure meticulous fluid balance management and electrolyte correction.
