Supervise execution of mechanical works including HVAC, Fire Protection, Plumbing, Water Supply, Sewage/Drainage, and associated utilities.
Review and approve method statements, material submittals, shop drawings, and equipment specifications.
Conduct inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with technical specifications, IS codes, NBC and other relevant standards.
Verify contractors' measurements, certify mechanical works progress, and support billing/measurement verification with the QS/Construction Manager.
Monitor contractor's work progress versus schedule, highlighting risks/delays to Construction Manager/Team Leader.
Ensure strict adherence to HSE practices during mechanical works execution.
Coordinate with Civil, Electrical, Structural, and Architectural teams to ensure seamless integration of services.
Attend site coordination meetings and provide technical clarifications.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports, quality reports, and documentation for the PMC and Client.
Support the team in claims assessment, change management, and dispute resolution related to mechanical works.
Qualifications
B.Tech/ B.E in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 8 years of experience in
urban infrastructure / riverfront development / roads / bridges / water supply / large civil works
projects.
