Role Purpose
To lead and manage the clinic's day-to-day clinical and administrative operations, ensuring high-quality dental care, smooth patient flow, SOP compliance, and alignment with Metier's service, brand, and growth goals.
Key Responsibilities
A. Clinical Duties
Diagnose and provide appropriate dental treatment to patients, maintaining professional and ethical standards.
Independently perform:
Restorative:
composite/GIC restorations.
GD
: Scaling & polishing, tooth bleaching.
Prosthodontic:
Crowns, bridges, dentures.
Endodontic:
RCT (anterior & posterior).
Oral Surgery:
Surgical & non-surgical extractions.
Periodontic:
Gum and other periodontal disease management.
Pediatric:
Treatment of teeth and gums in children.
Prescribe medications and post-treatment care as per clinic policies.
Maintain complete and accurate case sheets (paper & electronic), including initial data, diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-ups.
B. Administrative Duties
Oversee clinic operations, patient appointments, and coordination with visiting consultants.
Maintain stock levels, verify inventory, and update MIS reports weekly/monthly.
Implement and monitor compliance with
infection control, sterilization, and patient safety SOPs
.
Ensure brand visibility by participating in
social media videos, YouTube interviews, outreach camps, and marketing events
.
Collaborate with management and marketing team to support promotional campaigns and patient engagement activities.
Provide weekly performance, patient inflow, and operations reports to the management.
Assist in mentoring and guiding dental assistants and support staff.

--explain treatment options clearly, answer all patient queries before and after procedures, and request patient feedback/reviews proactively.

--work in alignment with clinic revenue growth objectives and participate in initiatives to improve patient inflow and treatment acceptance.
Respect clinic working hours--
no early departures
without prior approval, except in emergencies, and ensure all patients are discharged fully and records are completed before leaving.
Maintain focus and professional presence during working hours; personal commitments must not impact patient care or clinic operations.
D. Communication with Patients
Engage proactively with patients--build rapport, explain treatment plans in layman's terms, address concerns patiently, and ensure they feel valued throughout the visit.
Maintain an approachable,
friendly, and non-introverted
communication style to encourage patient trust and comfort.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Monthly procedure volume & quality metrics.
Patient satisfaction & feedback scores.
Compliance with SOPs and record-keeping.
Timely submission of reports and stock updates.

Conversion rate of consultations to treatments.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
BDS with valid
Dental Council Registration

Experience:
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience with hands-on molar RCT and surgical extractions.
Skills:
Intermediate MS Excel, basic social media skills, good communication in Kannada & English, strong interpersonal and patient-handling skills.
