Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

Ticketing and Reservations Executive

with a strong understanding of domestic and international travel operations. The candidate must have a

minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

in the travel industry. GDS knowledge is

preferred but not mandatory

.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle air ticket bookings (domestic and international) and coordinate with airlines and consolidators. Process changes, cancellations, reissues, and refunds as per fare rules and customer needs. Manage hotel, rail, bus bookings, and ancillary services (visa, insurance, etc.). Interact with clients professionally via phone, email, and messaging apps to resolve travel queries. Provide fare quotes, travel advice, and itinerary options to clients and internal teams. Maintain accurate booking records and client communications. Coordinate with suppliers for confirmations and special requests. Stay updated on airline policies, industry regulations, and travel trends.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum

3 years of hands-on experience

in ticketing and reservations (mandatory). Proficiency in any GDS (Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre) is

preferred but not compulsory

. Strong knowledge of airline fare rules, booking processes, and international routing. Excellent communication and client-handling skills. Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure. Familiarity with travel CRMs and basic Excel skills. Educational background in Travel & Tourism or related fields is an added advantage.
