An airline ticketing executive's job is to sell tickets, manage reservations, and provide customer service to passengers. They work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and ensuring a seamless travel experience.

Responsibilities

Handling inbound calls and providing support to travel agents Issuing tickets and handling emails Providing support to agents on booking, cancellation, and refund Capturing and applying agent feedback Checking baggage, reserving tickets, and providing flight and destination details Handling data entry, payment, collection, and verification Troubleshooting travel-related issues Offering information on flight schedules and policies Maintaining a calm demeanor during peak travel times
Skills and qualifications

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Knowledge and hands on experience on GDS Tools like: Galileo / Amadeus / Sabre and others Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks Customer service skills Ticketing systems skills
