The Reservation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the reservations department to ensure maximum room revenue, efficiency, accuracy, and guest satisfaction. The role involves supervising the reservations team, managing room inventory, handling VIP and group bookings, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and ensuring adherence to hotel policies and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Reservation Operations
Supervise, train, and support the reservations team to ensure smooth and efficient department functioning.
Manage daily reservations, amendments, cancellations, and special requests while ensuring accuracy.
Monitor room availability, rate codes, and booking patterns to optimize occupancy and revenue.
Ensure all reservations are input accurately in PMS/CRS systems.
2. Revenue & Inventory Management
Coordinate with the Revenue Manager on forecasting, pricing strategies, and inventory control.
Monitor no-shows, overbooking levels, and booking pace; implement corrective actions when required.
Ensure rate parity across all distribution channels.
