Manage guest reservations, walk-ins, and waiting lists efficiently
Escort guests to tables and explain seating arrangements
Build rapport with regular and VIP guests
Understand guest preferences and special occasions
Coordination & Service Support
Coordinate with service staff and kitchen to ensure smooth guest flow
Inform guests about waiting times and manage expectations politely
Support servers during peak hours to ensure service quality
Assist in handling guest complaints and service recovery
Feedback & Brand Representation
Collect guest feedback during and after dining
Address minor concerns immediately and escalate when required
Maintain guest feedback records and share insights with management
Represent the restaurant brand with professional conduct and grooming
Administrative & SOP Compliance
Maintain reservation registers / digital systems
Follow SOPs related to guest handling, hygiene, and safety
Ensure lobby, entrance, and waiting areas are clean and presentable
Desired Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Pleasant personality with a guest-first attitude
Strong problem-solving and service recovery skills
Ability to remain calm and courteous during busy hours
Knowledge of Indian dining etiquette is an advantage
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management preferred
1-3 years of experience as GRE / Hostess / Front Office in premium restaurants or hotels
Freshers with good communication and presentation skills may be considered
Work Conditions
