We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Reservation Executive to join our team in Mumbai, India. As a Reservation Executive, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional guest experiences from the very first point of contact. Your friendly demeanor and efficient approach will set the tone for our guests' stays and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
Manage incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online booking platforms
Provide detailed information about room types, rates, availability, and hotel amenities to potential guests
Utilize up-selling techniques to maximize room revenue and enhance guest experiences
Process reservations accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest preferences and special requests are recorded
Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs and resolve any booking-related issues
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of hotel promotions, packages, and local events
Generate and distribute daily reservation reports to relevant departments
Assist in managing group bookings and corporate accounts
Ensure compliance with hotel policies and industry standards in all reservation processes
Contribute to the continuous improvement of reservation procedures and guest satisfaction metrics
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Reservation Executive or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
Strong guest-focused personality with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
Proficiency in Opera Cloud or similar reservation management systems
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Outstanding communication abilities in English, both verbal and written; additional language skills are a plus
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Basic computer skills and familiarity with various reservation software and online booking platforms
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, practices, and trends
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred
