Safiya Holidays is seeking an experienced Reservation Manager to lead our Travel reservations team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
hotel reservations,
excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the reservations process, including processing and confirming hotel bookings, cancellations, and modifications
- Ensure accurate and timely communication with clients, hotels, and other stakeholders
- Meet or exceed revenue and sales targets
- Analyze market trends, competitor rates, and hotel performance to optimize revenue management strategies
- Develop and implement effective reservation strategies to maximize revenue
- Manage and maintain the company's reservation system, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information
- Oversee the reservations team, providing coaching, training, and guidance as needed
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations and Marketing, to ensure seamless client experiences
- Handle client complaints and concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in hotel reservations or related field
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Proficient in hotel reservation systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of industry trends, competitor analysis, and revenue management strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Hotel Management or related field
