Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Booking Management:Taking and confirming reservations, checking availability, processing payments, and sending confirmations.
Customer Service:Answering questions, offering travel advice, handling complaints, and managing special requests (e.g., dietary needs, seating).
System Operations:Using reservation software to update data, track inventory, and manage bookings.
Coordination:Liaising with front desk, housekeeping, or other staff to ensure smooth service delivery and resolve issues.
Sales & Upselling:Promoting upgrades, special packages, and other services to enhance customer experience and revenue.
Modifications & Cancellations:Processing changes, cancellations, and managing no-shows efficiently.
Reporting:Maintaining accurate records and potentially generating reports on reservation trends.
Key Skills:
Strong communication & customer service.
Proficiency with booking software & Microsoft Office.
Attention to detail & problem-solving.
Ability to work under pressure & multitask.
Environment:
Can work for hotels, airlines, tour operators, or event venues.
Communicates via phone, email, chat, and in-person.
