We are looking for a
Research Journalist Intern
who is curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about storytelling backed by strong research. This internship is ideal for students or fresh graduates interested in journalism, media research, content analysis, and investigative reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth online and offline research on assigned topics
Verify facts, data, and sources for accuracy
Assist in writing research-based articles, reports, and briefs
Summarize complex information into clear, engaging content
Support senior journalists and editors with background research
Stay updated with current affairs, trends, and industry news
Maintain proper citations and documentation of sources
Required Skills & Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, English, Political Science, or related fields
Strong research and analytical skills
Excellent written English communication skills
Ability to identify credible sources and fact-check information
Basic understanding of journalism ethics
Familiarity with Google Docs and online research tools
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Prior experience in content writing or journalism
Interest in investigative or long-form journalism
