BUSINESS CONTEXT AND MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Beauty and Wellbeing (BW) is focused on Unmissable Brand Superiority and Making Market with Multi-Year Innovation Platforms and Excellence with Incremental turnover. Science & Technology (S&T) team is focused on big bets platforms such as MultiOmics, Biotechnology, Advanced Materials, using Digital to excel with savings and growth. The role of the Science and Technology (S&T-Physical and Chemical Science-PCS) is to deliver breakthrough xe2x80x9cDifferentiated & Superior Technologiesxe2x80x9d to meet above B&W goals, in key markets and with power brands.
S&T-PCS team is employing Advance materials, Substrate Science and Digital to deliver Beautiful, Noticeable, Appearance Benefits to Skin & Hair. Teams focus is to deliver faster and cost-effective Innovations through Advanced Material Pillar using xe2x80x9cComputational chemistryxe2x80x9d. The purpose is to build multiyear innovation roadmap & impactful claims by combining insights driven by
(a) Substrate xe2x80x93 Material - Product dynamics
(b) Computational chemistry. To meet our purpose, we need candidate with expertise in Materials Chemistry. The candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to learning new digital capabilities, work on their own initiative and a desire to develop scientific skills.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop In vitro capabilities & Technology pipeline to deliver consumer benefit through Sustainable materials & surface science insights
Drive Design of Experiments to strengthen expertise area through proof of science.
Build, learn and apply skills in modelling, cheminformatics skill to led technology funnel.
Build IP funnel for differentiated & exclusive consumer benefits
Delivers effective reporting of scientific data, including peer-reviewed publications
Communicate and work closely with global team to incorporate new technologies into product
Apply Growth Mind set through speed & teamwork

KEY SKILLS
Strong hand-on experience in Materials Chemistry
Experience in polymers or colloids chemistry
Scientific writing and Literature analysis.
Track record of working in collaborations.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
M.Sc. in Chemistry (organic, Inorganic, polymer)
Experience in Digital & Modelling
