Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Mechanical Research Engineer to join our R&D team.The ideal candidate will contribute to the design,testing, analysis and development of advance mechanical systesm and components, driving innovation in performance, efficiency, and reliability. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, hands- on experimental skills , and a passion for applied research and product development.

Key Responsibility:

Lead and support research initiatives focused on the design, modelling, and testing of mechanical systems and components. Develop analytical and computational models to predict mechanical performance under various operating conditions. Conduct experiments, collect data, and analyse results to validate models and guide design optimization. Investigate and implement new materials, manufacturing techniques, and emerging technologies to enhance product performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies into products. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations summarizing research findings and recommendations. Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Contribute to patent applications, publications, and knowledge sharing within the organization.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Aerospace Engineering or a related field. 0-5 years of experience in mechanical design, R&D, or related engineering fields. Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and solid mechanics.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Fusion360 or AutoCAD).

Experience with simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, STARCCM, NASTRAN, OPENFOAM or COMSOL) for structural, thermal, or fluid analysis. Familiarity with data analysis and programming tools (e.g., MATLAB, C++, Python, or R). Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and testing protocols. Professional certifications or prior R&D project experience is a plus.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position with standard working hours i.e. 9 AM - 6 PM, Monday to Saturday.
