Role Summary :

The Research and Development Centre of Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions, located in Bangalore, India, executing R&D programs for global membrane treatment applications and supporting customers in Asia/Pacific

Essential Responsibilities / Expectations : * Research and development of innovative and sustainable chemical-based treatment solutions for membrane applications (Reverse osmosis, ultra-/nanofiltration)

• Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound scientific principles and adhering to business standards, procedures, and product / program requirements.
• Support commercialization of newly developed products.
• As part of a global development team, contribute to idea generation, conduct experiments, and review results

• Provide technical product support, customer service and problem solving for industrial membrane applications

• Perform laboratory-scale application studies, evaluating the efficiency of treatment products, such as biocides, anti- scalants, cleaning agent or pre-treatment chemicals, and demonstrating their enhanced performance, providing a sustainable advantage over competition.
• Design and build of new lab-scale test units
• Ensure existing installations remain in good operational condition, through regular inspections and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience/knowledge on analytical characterization techniques and data interpretation.

Educational Qualification :

Ph.D. or M.S. degree in Chemistry, Chemical/Environmental engineering or equivalent

Experience Required :

3-5 years of industrial chemistry experience, preferably Membrane applications
