Strong knowledge of generator electrical systems, alternators, excitation systems, and controls. Good knowledge in developing single line diagrams. Required ERP software (preferred Windchill) knowledge. Good knowledge of the Communication protocols. Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN for electrical drawings. Understanding of power electronics, battery systems, and hybrid Genset integration. Knowledge of international and national electrical standards (IEC, ISO, BIS, CPCB norms). Work with mechanical and acoustic engineers to integrate electrical systems into Genset designs. Support production teams during manufacturing scale-up and resolve electrical design issues. Provide technical guidance to service and field engineers for troubleshooting. Design and develop electrical/electronic circuits, control panels, and wiring systems for gensets (diesel, gas, or dual-fuel). Develop and integrate Genset Control Systems (AMF, synchronizing, load-sharing, PLC-based or microcontroller-based). Work on alternator selection, excitation systems, AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) tuning, and power output optimization. Design electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts for control and monitoring systems. * Dealing with the customers & suppliers in various forum.
