About the Role:

Department: Research & Development

Designation: R&D Executive

Reporting To: R&D Manager / Head - R&D

Key Responsibilities

? Independently handle formulation, development, and optimization of skincare and

cosmetic products.

? Lead lab trials for creams, lotions, serums, gels, cleansers, and other skincare formats.

? Conduct and interpret stability, compatibility, and performance testing.

? Coordinate with raw material vendors for ingredient sourcing, samples, and technical

documentation.

? Liaise with third-party laboratories for product testing and validations.

? Prepare, review, and maintain formulation dossiers, SOPs, and R&D documentation.

? Support scale-up and pilot batch trials; provide technical input during production runs.

? Troubleshoot formulation, quality, and process-related issues during development and

manufacturing.

? Work closely with Quality, Production, and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with

cosmetic standards.

? Stay updated on new cosmetic ingredients, trends, and regulatory changes in skincare.

Skills & Competencies

? Strong hands-on experience in cosmetic and skincare formulations.

? In-depth knowledge of cosmetic raw materials, actives, preservatives, and emulsifiers.

? Good understanding of stability protocols, GMP, and quality standards.

? Excellent vendor coordination and cross-functional communication skills.

? Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Educational Qualification

? B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or a related field.

Experience

? 4-5 years of relevant experience in cosmetic R&D, preferably with skincare products.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
