Roles and Responsibilities:

You will:


Provide assistance to the faculty in their ongoing research work which includes literature review, performing analysis, reading proofs, and running simulations on platforms such as Matlab and Mathematica.

Skills:

Must be adept in Mathematics and in particular comfortable with Real Analysis, e.g., the book "Principles of Mathematical Analysis" by Walter Rudin. Strong motivation to pursue a career in research in Economics/Management (please explain in your cover letter). Proficiency in Matlab and/or Mathematica. Motivation to learn and a strong work ethic. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to every detail. Strong team player with cross-functional skills.

Qualifications:

Must have Bachelors/Masters degree in a mathematical discipline (Math/Physics/Engineering/Economics) with some exposure to Economics.
