Work Days & Hours:

6 days/week, 9 working hours (including rotational shifts)

Compensation:

INR 2,50,000 - 3,00,000 CTC per annum

Passport:

Mandatory (or to be applied immediately)

Qualification:

Bachelor's/Master's in Psychology, Anthropology, or related field

Experience:

Preferably 6 months - 1 year in research, behavioral studies, or field observations

We are seeking an

Research Associate

to conduct immersive, on-ground research at Hyderabad Airport. The role involves direct behavioral observations, contextual analysis, and reporting insights to improve the overall passenger experience and airport operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct direct observations of passenger and staff actions in designated airport areas (e.g., check-in, security, boarding gates). Record behaviors including interactions with self-service kiosks, staff assistance, and passenger queues. Capture environmental factors influencing behavior such as crowd density, signage clarity, and seating availability. Use sensory ethnography techniques to observe through all five senses sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste to build a holistic understanding of the airport experience. Categorize traveler types based on characteristics and emotional states (e.g., stressed business travelers, fatigued families). Note conversations (with permission) to understand concerns, queries, and staff responses. Identify recurring issues, congestion points, and propose solutions through reflective commentary. Ensure confidentiality and ethical research standards throughout the process. Prepare comprehensive ethnographic reports that provide actionable insights for enhancing passenger experience and airport efficiency.

Key Requirements:

Background in

Psychology/Anthropology

with strong observational and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to capture qualitative insights. Strong written communication to prepare clear, reflective reports. Comfortable working in dynamic environments with rotational shifts. Passport must be valid or applied immediately.
