Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Research Associate - R&Dto join our innovative team. This role will focus on the research, formulation, and development of high-quality skincare and hair care products aligned with our clean beauty philosophy. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cosmetic science, hands-on experience in formulation, and a keen eye for detail and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Research current and upcoming consumer trends, new actives, ingredients, product formats, and packaging innovations. Conduct bench-scale experiments for new product development and demonstrate product performance through standard protocols. Build a comprehensive database from scientific literature, patents, competitor benchmarks, and supplier resources. Design and execute product efficacy tests using internal and external panel evaluations. Collaborate with marketing teams to support claims and promotional strategies. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and suppliers for smooth product development and timely market launch. Utilize digital tools and social media insights to support product innovation goals. Ensure adherence to GLP, GMP, and ISO standards in all R&D activities.

Key Requirements

M.Sc. in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or a related field. Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in an R&D or formulation role within the cosmetics or personal care industry. Sound knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, formulation techniques, and lab testing. Familiarity with regulatory standards and safety practices. Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A curious mind with a passion for clean beauty and sustainable product innovation.
