Head of Research and Publications - ARULA for Autism
About ARULA:
ARULA for Autism is an innovative, mother-centric, child-directed intervention model that emphasizes auditory-seeking approaches to help children on the autism spectrum develop meaningful communication, regulation, and independence. Our unique framework empowers mothers as primary therapists, guided by trained ARULA Care Therapists (clinical psychologists and neuropsychologists).
Position Overview:
We are seeking a
PhD graduate (Psychology / Neuroscience / Child Development / Special Education or related field)
to lead ARULA's
Research and Publication Wing
. The selected candidate will drive scientific validation of ARULA's model, oversee data-driven studies, and spearhead publications in national and international journals.
This role offers the opportunity to transform practical interventions into evidence-based frameworks, contributing to global autism research and practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and design
research studies
to evaluate ARULA's intervention model and outcomes.
Develop and manage
research protocols
, ethical approvals, and data collection systems.
Supervise
research interns
and collaborate with ARULA Care Therapists for data insights.
Prepare
scientific manuscripts
, abstracts, and conference papers for publication.
Establish
academic and institutional collaborations
to expand ARULA's research network.
Conduct
literature reviews
and synthesize findings to support new program modules.
Create
impact reports
and evidence summaries for stakeholders and parent communities.
Mentor junior researchers in developing evidence-based documentation practices.
Desired Qualifications:
PhD
in Psychology, Neuroscience, Child Development, Special Education, or related disciplines.
Proven track record of
research publications
in peer-reviewed journals.
Strong understanding of
autism intervention methodologies
and behavioral sciences.
Skilled in
qualitative and quantitative analysis
(SPSS / R / NVivo preferred).
Excellent
scientific writing
and editorial skills.
Prior experience in
leading research teams or academic projects
preferred.
Passion for
bridging science and practice
in the field of neurodiversity and family-led interventions.

Hybrid /on -site (Preference for candidates open to collaborating with ARULA's India-based operations team)
