Position Research Associate (Immediately), Research Assistant (Immediately), Field Investigator


Call for Applications Research Associate/Research Assistant/Field Investigator for an ICSSR funded (Indian Council for Social Science Research, New Delhi) Research Project titled "Sexual and Reproductive Health of Slum Dwelling Women: A Case Study of Noida and Greater Noida".


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our team for an ICSSR funded research project titled Sexual and Reproductive Health of Slum Dwelling Women: A Case Study of Noida and Greater Noida. The research associate will work closely with the Project Director and other team members to ensure the successful completion of the project. The research associate will be responsible for assisting and conducting literature reviews, collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports and presentations, and assisting with project coordination and management.


Duration 3-6 Months (Project starts with immediate effect from 1 May 2023)


Qualifications The desired/essential requirement :
Master's degree/Phil/PhD (ongoing) in community health with specialization in Reproductive and sexual health; gender and health; Sociology etc. Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, including experience with data collection (Ethnographic) analysis, and interpretation. The candidate should have excellent analytical, written and communication skills including experience with scientific writing and analysis. Knowledge of reproductive and sexual health issues is a plus. Knowledge of NVIVO will be a plus. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Comfortable with flexible shifts. Previous experience in field data collection will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct literature reviews and assist with the development of research project. Analyze research data using relevant qualitative research methods. Prepare reports and presentations on research findings. Assist in writing research papers for the project. Assist with project coordination and management, including coordinating study logistics and communicating with project partners and stakeholders. Contribute to the development of research project and manuscripts for publication.
