Research:
Undertake technical assessments including rigorous qualitative and quantitative data analysis
Undertake projects related to water conservation as well as watershed management
Undertake assessments for policy, regulatory, economic aspects in related areas/sectors
Formulate strategies for water conservation as well as watershed related interventions for different projects
Undertake visits to project locations for field work
Write high quality reports and publications in relevant areas
General responsibilities:
Assist in planning and conducting project meetings, stakeholder consultations workshops, etc.
Assist in building relationships with a wider community of industry and government stakeholders in the water domain
Experience
1 - 2 Years
Qualification
Master-s degree in water resources or Civil Engineering or a related branch from a reputed institute. Postgraduates in other disciplines with experience in water resources management may also be considered.
Skills
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
Strong oral communication skills
- Good writing skills with the ability to write thematic briefs- and reports
Strong interpersonal and team skills
- High level of energy- initiative- self-motivation- and flexibility in quickly adjusting to new challenges or changing work program requirements
-Knowledge of water resources- water use efficiency- wastewater management- water conservation projects such as pond rejuvenation- rainwater harvesting- etc.
