Roles and ResponsibilitiesAbout Swarna Jayanti Haryana Institute for Fiscal Management (SJHIFM) The Swarna Jayanti Haryana Institute for Fiscal Management (SJHIFM) is a centre of excellence for research in public policy and economy established in November 2016. Drawing its mandated from 5th State Finance Commission Report and Sustainable Developmental Goals 2030 VISION of Haryana, the SJHIFM works as \xe2\x80\x9cPolicy Think Tank\xe2\x80\x9d for the state. The Institute aims to strengthen the State\xe2\x80\x99s capacity on issues concerning Public Financial Management. It also plays a key role to provide state of the art advice to the Government of Haryana. About Role:-
Providing and interpreting financial information, monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends, analyzing change and advising accordingly and formulating strategic and long-term research/work plans.
Co-ordinate technical/ administrative matters.
Participate in consultations with the accounting, investment, regulatory and standard-setting communities, in order to ascertain their views and to share research, materials and information about the Institute/ organization, projects and the standard-set
Support, Coordinate Research, Assessment and Evaluation studies for ongoing and new projects of the Institute
Help the head and other team members to design Research, evaluation tools and formats based on pre-defined goals and indicators
Support in managing/coordinating and conducting the training program and field level surveys in any level
Help to Collate and analyze findings from the data collected
Responsible for preparing and presenting reports under the supervision of team head on findings to diverse stakeholders
Contribute substantial input to development of work plans, research questions, project concept notes, and field research guides.
Thoroughly familiar with the Central and State policies related to Finance and Economics, development context and challenges about key developmental issues in the state.
Strong analytical and numerical skills; the ability to gather facts and statistics and to identify trends and patterns.
Writes concept notes, background material based on secondary data.
Excellent written and oral Communication skills
Knowledge of Computer skills including Internet and Office.
Results Based Programme Development and Management
Researches linkages across programme activities to identify critical points for integration.
Participates in formulation of project proposal and ensure substantive rigor in the design and application of proven successful approaches and drafts proposals accordingly.
Strong writing and analytical skills.
Ability to conduct empirical analysis having research tools such as Regression and Econometric Models.

Experience & Qualification Eligibility criteria Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree having 70% marks (specialization: Honors in Business/ Public Administration/statistics/Economics) with the least 1-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in related field or Master\xe2\x80\x99s in Business Administration/ Public Administration/ statistics/Economics /Social Science/Political Science or related fields. Excellent written and oral Communication skills and knowledge of computers skills sets including internet and office.
